Poetry: Echosightings Vol II, RING GAMES

Summer
With its free rein
open spaces and
romps
Has been pressed into memory.
September
and its sundry
regiments close their grip
on life
Traffic
Booklists incomplete
Uniforms
And the summoning
bells
But even so
There is still room
for the reassuring trill
And twitter
of little voices
Caught up in the ageless songs
as each one hops
Along
