THURSDAY'S inclement weather put a damper on Beenie Man's unplugged performance at the Reggae Mill Bar located at Devon House in St Andrew.
The event, first in a new series of live stagings, was dubbed Live At The Devon.
Restaurateur/promoter Alexx Antaeus, co-organiser of the event, spoke with the Jamaica Observer about the postponement.
“On Monday we'll be in a better position to make an annoucement, but we're looking at doing it next Thursday,” he told the Jamaica Observer.
An in-demand dancehall act for many years, Beenie Man (given name Moses Davis) won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 2001 for Art and Life, distributed by Virgin Records.
He is known for tracks including Girls Dem Sugar, Romie, Who Am I, and Dude featuring Ms Thin
