Lee n' MTV to go POW!! with new set of superheroes

Stan Lee is teaming with MTV to launch his newest cast of superheroes, reports The Huffington Post.

Lee's POW Entertainment and MTV will back a new franchise that will launch with "The Seekers" digital comic series, which Lee describes as "a very high-concept plot, it's a story such as you never have seen before, and it spans the centuries."

MTV plans to hold a contest to find undiscovered talent to write and illustrate the comic series.

Initially, "The Seekers" will debut on the new MTV Geek website that launched earlier this week.

Although specific details will be announced today at the New York Comic Con, Lee has revealed that plans for "The Seekers" also include a TV series or film.
