Cocote has won the Signs of Life Award at the Locarno Film Festival, Switzerland.
Santa y Andrés has won the Best Film Award, the Audience Award and the Best Actor Award (Eduardo Martínez) at the Santo Domingo OutFest - International LGBT Film Festival, Dominican Republic; the Audience Award for Best Feature Film at the Barcelona Gay Film Festival, Spain; the Best Ibero-American Fiction Award, the Best Actress Award (Lola Amores), the Best Screenplay Award (Carlos Lechuga), and the Special Jury Prize at the Guadalajara International Film Festival, Mexico; and the Best Performance Award (Lola Amores and Eduardo Martínez) at the Miami Film Festival, USA.
