Auto: Evergreen Porsche

Stories of finding classic cars in rural barns abound, and this 1955 Porsche 356 1500 Coupe by Reutter is a great example of just such a story. Originally, the Porsche was completed in June of 1955 and delivered to the U.S. After tallying up a meager 44,000 miles, it was put into storage where it remained until it was recovered and shipped to France.
Ever Green Cars in Casalmaiocco, near Milan, Italy, worked on the car, putting in hundreds of hours in just bare-metal restoration. The new owner opted for the 1953 factory color of Palm Green and an updated beige upholstery. Not only is the car itself mostly original, but the radio is also a vintage model. The restored Telefunken radio was installed by German audio specialists.
