While it would have been understandable for Ford to produce an outlandish one-off to celebrate this milestone, it’s rather refreshing that the automaker has instead opted for something that slides under the radar.
The Blue Oval will hold a ceremony at the Mustang factory to celebrate the milestone later this week.
Taking a more in-depth look at the published Instagram posts and you may notice a hashtag that reads #notforsale. This may indicate that Ford itself will keep the car rather than sell it to a private buyer. Whatever turns out to be the case, it is inevitable that this Mustang Convertible will be a highly prized collectable in the decades to come.
