A game show
contestant shrieks and convulses
in delight
the sight of her
being presented witha new
car makes
admittedly
for stirring viewing
if only too briefly
In the same vein a
baby giggles and
throws itself about
his father a
willing fool and
reaping the indescribable
joy
that only the wilfully foolish
can gain
an impromptu
gathering
in a vaguely familiar plaace
among
vaguely familiar
people unexpectedly yields
wilful foolishness
of a different
kind
an improvised
ring
and declarations of undying
love
a proposal of
betrothal
that brings indescribable
joy
from the subject's elated
expression
and the expected
yet still so welcome
