Business: Read Replaces Sorrell at WPP

WPP has chosen Mark Read as its new chief executive, according to a person familiar with the matter, placing a company veteran at the helm of the world’s largest ad firm following the departure of founder Martin Sorrell.
Sorrell had resigned in April, following allegations of personal misconduct.
WPP employs more than 200,000 staff in 400 separate advertising businesses working in more than 3,000 offices in 112 countries.
