Jamaica has satisfied the criteria for Reggae Music of Jamaica to be inscribed on the United Nations Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Speaking at the meeting to confirm the inscription, Jamaica's Minister of Culture and Entertainment Olivia "Babsy" Grange thanked the committee for their overwhelming support of Jamaica and reggae music, and brought delegates to their feet dancing and singing Bob Marley's "One Love".
