Business: Qatar Quits OPEC

Qatar intends to withdraw from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries to focus on its natural-gas development, its energy minister said.
Qatar Energy Minister Saad Al-Kaabi said the country would withdraw from the organization by January 2019. An OPEC official in Vienna confirmed it was aware of the decision.
The move comes as the organization is preparing to meet on Thursday to decide on output, as it grapples with major challenges such as pressure from President Trump and tensions between members.
