Poetry: CLOUD CITY (Content Gap)

How can I leave
this place?
Shielded
from the insanity of
the sweeping
Plain by
ridges and drumlins
With Hawks and
johncrows soaring through
the jagged
gaps
Obscured to the
uninitiated yet having
an uninterrupted
View
of the
World
Kissed by
heady bamboo and
virile pine and
even demure
Eucalyptus throws down
a smile while the
Rain
falls like
medicine
Dose after cleansing
dose
And the bright
eager
Futures
that society has
snubbed are given
Refuge
in this Cloud City while
the coffee berries wink
Through their
banana leaf lids
And afar off
The Cays luxuriate
in the
Caribbean's
Pre-christmas
Calm
