Gear: the original "photo-sharing" tool in a new iteration

The old fashioned Polaroid camera from 1977, arguably the most famous consumer camera in history, was one of the greatest advancements in bringing basic photography to the masses. An argument could be made—and probably already has in some thesis somewhere—that the advent of the Polaroid was the true beginning of the social media era, as it allowed people to quickly take photos and share those moments with each other.
Well now the infamous Polaroid i-Type, the one you may remember from the 70s and 80s before it was so sadly discontinued, is back—but with a decidedly modern twist. The OneStep 2 i-Type camera is designed like the original i-Type of lore, but has a powerful flash and high quality two foot to infinity lens that guarantees great photos almost every time. It works with black and white and color polaroid film, as well as 600 film, which gives everyone a lot of latitude and variety when you shoot photos. The OneStep 2 i-Type also has a rechargeable battery via USB, allowing it to work for a long period of time without needing to be charged again.
Sure, a polaroid is only shareable with people around you in the moment. But that’s a little more intimate than posting online for everyone to see and comment on.
