The old fashioned Polaroid camera from 1977, arguably the most famous consumer camera in history, was one of the greatest advancements in bringing basic photography to the masses. An argument could be made—and probably already has in some thesis somewhere—that the advent of the Polaroid was the true beginning of the social media era, as it allowed people to quickly take photos and share those moments with each other.
Well now the infamous Polaroid i-Type, the one you may remember from the 70s and 80s before it was so sadly discontinued, is back—but with a decidedly modern twist.
