the luminous interstellar
temptress
holding
men spellbound for
Millennia

and
the capricious Gargantuan
blustery and
domineering
keeping watch amid its internal
storms on
all its planetary
progeny
now
at this
11th
hour
eager
for a cosmic tryst
willing
their way
ahead
of the scolding
Sun
their open
kiss
a mere moment
in time
but one that will
reverberate
throughout
eons
for He
knows
she will soon
depart - attended by
fawning
meteors -
to make room
for the next
ring-bearing
