Music: Bob Marley & The Wailers To Release Expanded Version Of ‘Live!’

On December 16 The Marley Family will release an expanded version of Live! as a three-LP set in 180-gram black vinyl and as a digital package. This new installment of Live!contains a number of previously unreleased performances from Bob Marley & The Wailers’ London Lyceum shows from July 17 and 18, 1975.

Marley and the Wailers’ classic line-up included bassist Aston “Family Man” Barrett, drummer Carlton “Carly” Barrett, guitarist Al Anderson, keyboardist Tyrone Downie, percussionist Alvin “Seeco” Patterson and the I-Three — backing vocalists Rita Marley, Judy Mowatt and Marcia Griffiths. Recordings of both London shows from the band’s famed 1975 tour were captured by The Rolling Stones mobile studio. Seven songs were released on the original Live! and now both complete sets will be available.
