Maybe
its me
but it seems
the ants
in
this
post-modern
urban
paradise
have become somewhat
anti-social
Oh they still
venture out
from their mound
Marvels
but the excursions seem
half-hearted
a begrudging run
to the
corner shop
to stock up on
snacks
or maybe
its another duly
ignored
climate change clarion call
The deniers
are in full ascendancy
for now
But
maybe
we might do well
to
canvas the reclining
ants
Their
new found reticence just
may be
offering us
some
vital
tips
at the crest
of our own
Complacency
